What’s going on in EASTEM?
Dear EASTEM project members, dear friends,
Hope you are doing well. Under current circumstances, we may be far apart and working from home with some restrictions.

With this newsletter, I would like to alert you to EASTEM project activities for the coming two weeks and share some interesting conferences to which we might want to consider project publications.

I hope that sharing this will help us keep up the motivation in the project and give us a platform for sharing our news with each other. There are many things going on in the project and at our universities, so I believe we have a lot more to share with each other.

You can email miriam.tardell@uadm.uu.se with any updates you wish to share with everyone in EASTEM and it will be shared in this biweekly newsletter.

Project activities

WP 2: Asian partners are running virtual ToT seminars for lecturers (until 15 June 2020). In May and June, WP 2 will meet in four online seminars on qualitative research.
The 1st seminar will take place on 4 May 2020, 09.00 – 10.30 Sweden time. All are welcome as observers. Here is the link to connect to the meeting: https://uu-se.zoom.us/j/62907097774

WP 3: WP leader Vilnius University will reach out to WP 3 teams to discuss how to demonstrate the initial steps in establishment of STEM centres by June 2020.

WP 4: WP leader IMT Atlantique will synthesize input from all partners on university-industry collaboration models in STEM education. This will serve as a baseline for work in this WP set to formally start in Brest in October and generate some dissemination outputs like conference publications.
